Biodynamic Massage in Cambridge

A massage-based therapy sitting at the intersection between massage and therapy practices

What is Biodynamic Massage?

Biodynamic massage is a form of massage that addresses both body and mind.

Working directly with the autonomic nervous system, biodynamic massage helps the body self-regulate. By being able to self-regulate and return to homeostasis, the body has a wider resource to be able to move towards whole, combined physical and emotional, health.

What can it help with?

Biodynamic massage can be a helpful complementary therapy for psycho-physiological or stress related symptoms such as headaches, aches and pains, anxiety, insomnia, depression, arthritis, post-traumatic stress as well as autoimmune disorders.

It’s also for those who feel ‘a bit under the weather’ or that something isn’t quite right, but where there is an absence of diagnosable disease.

Your therapist

The body has its own intelligence and resources to keep itself balanced. Sometimes life can overwhelm that natural intelligence and we need to give our body some help to return to the natural balance.

The connection with the client and working with what the client brings and needs that day as well as in the longer term is why I get so much joy from this work. I am always fascinated by the body’s own intelligence and the way that all I need to do is listen and the body will tell me where to go next with the massage.
